A market leading business for over 30 years in their area of expertise and a production facility in the Blackburn area that is home to Head Office functions also.

Description

As the Procurement Admin / Buyer, your duties will include, however will not be limited to:

  • Processing purchase orders.
  • Coordinating with suppliers and chasing deliveries/dealing with queries.
  • Handling discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintaining and updating procurement records and pricing data.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement laws.
  • Supporting other team members in the Procurement & Supply Chain Department as needed.

Profile

A successful Purchasing Admin / Buyer should have:

  • Previously worked in an administrative role, ideally within procurement.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
