Freelance Quantity Surveyor - Tier One Main Contractor – Grade 2 listed education building refurbishment – North Lancashire – up to £520 per day inside IR35 –
This is a site based role with 1 day per week WFH - I am working with one the UKs leading main contractors to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a new opportunity to work on a site in North Lancashire. The project is £25 million in value.
The Quantity Surveyor role
You will manage a range of commercial aspects including procurement, tendering, contract administration, variations and management of subcontract works packages through to final account. This is an ongoing project that is due to be finished by Summer 2026.
Youll be required to minimise risk, cost and maximise value by cost checking and analysis of labour, plant and materials.
The candidate
You will have a degree in BSc Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management or equivalent experience/memberships.
You should have construction industry experience with a main contractor in a similar role.
