Our client is seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to support their administrative and financial functions, ensuring the smooth operation of finance-related tasks. Your new roleAs a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role within the finance team. Your responsibilities will include aiding in the preparation of financial information for the Financial Controller, maintaining accurate records of income and expenditure, and monitoring the in-house bespoke invoice system. You will also assist with the payroll process for the company's franchisee network, update and manage data within the SAGE 200 system, and handle telephone queries in a friendly and efficient manner. Additionally, you will prepare reports and management information as requested, learn and understand FCA compliance rules and regulations, and provide support to fellow team members to meet company goals. What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you will need to have strong IT skills, including proficiency in databases, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Sage. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to prioritise work and manage your time effectively. You should be highly organised, capable of multitasking, and able to work on your own initiative. Excellent communication skills and a strong team player mentality are also crucial. Flexibility, enthusiasm, and good customer care skills will help you thrive in this role.
