Finance Assistant

We’re seeking a proactive Finance Assistant to join the finance team. This role involves managing banking ledger accounts, processing daily collections, and overseeing monthly bank reconciliations. It’s a fast-paced position, perfect for someone eager to build a long-term finance career. The successful candidate will receive mentorship, using initiative to resolve challenges and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile bank statements with the ERP system (SAP).

  • Support daily banking activities and ensure timely bank reconciliations.

  • Monitor direct debits, bank balances, and clear transactions from the General Ledger.

  • Check, code, and input all bank transactions.

  • Collaborate with other departments on payment and receipt processes.

  • Provide updates to the finance team on activities and ensure compliance with service levels.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with SAP (preferred).

  • Progressing towards finance/accounting qualifications or possessing related experience.

  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and results-driven.

  • Skilled at managing workloads and large datasets in fast-paced environments.

  • Strong teamwork abilities with a proven track record of meeting KPIs and SLAs.
