Sonic Summary

Rotherwood Education is seeking an English Teacher for a full-time position at a well-established school in Blackburn, starting ASAP and lasting until the end of the Academic Year.
Candidates must hold a valid teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, or QTLS and have previous experience teaching English to KS3 and KS4 students.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent and inspirational teacher with strong classroom management skills and must provide two references covering the last five years of work history.
A current DBS check is required, or the candidate must be willing to apply for one during the registration process.
This position offers a competitive salary, and applicants should have at least two years of teaching experience in the relevant subject area.

Rotherwood Education are currently recruiting a English Teacher to join a dynamic department within a well-established school in Blackburn. This is a full time role starting ASAP lasting until the end of the Academic Year.

The successful English Teacher will:

Hold a valid teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or QTLS.
Have previous experience teaching English to KS3 & KS4.
Be an excellent, inspirational teacher with strong classroom management.
Provide details of last 2 latest references, covering the last 5 years’ work history.
Possess a current DBS check or be prepared to apply for one as part of your registration.
Be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people.
Be willing to complete a face-to-face registration and satisfy several checks.
