Your new companyYour new school is a large, over-subscribed secondary school located in central Blackburn. The school is coeducational and caters for pupils aged 11-16. The school has an excellent reputation in the local community and there is an extremely supportive senior leadership team throughout school with a clear vision towards achieving outstanding. In addition to the above, the school offers state of the art facilities and has excellent transport links.

Your new roleJoining a high achieving department, you will be responsible for teaching Maths to KS4. The role is to commence from the 27th January and will operate, full time, on a temporary basis covering a staff absence. As the role is long term, you will be required to plan and prepare all lessons whilst differentiating in pupil ability. You will also be required to mark and assess all work ensuring that pupils are progressing in line with their target grades.

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in securing this position, it is essential that you hold a teaching qualification such as QTS, QTLS or PGCE and have experience of teaching Maths to KS4. You must be able to commence the role from the required start date and be able to commit to the full duration of the assignment.
