About the Role:

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable QTS supply teachers for day-to-day cover in secondary schools across East Lancashire. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers looking for flexible, short-term assignments, or those who are between permanent roles. You will be responsible for covering lessons across a range of subjects and year groups, ensuring the continuity of learning while maintaining a positive and effective classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lessons according to the school's curriculum and lesson plans.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Support students in their learning and development, helping them engage with the lesson content.
  • Follow the school's policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety.
  • Provide feedback to the school on student progress and behaviour.
  • Adapt quickly to new environments and work collaboratively with school staff.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent teaching experience, ideally within secondary schools.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
