Salary - £22,734 - £24,307 Pro Rata, Per annum

Part-Time - Term Time only - 14.8 hours, 38 weeks per year

  • The Role

     

    Working as a key member of the Student Support and Engagement Team you will provide a high quality, proactive learning support service for students who have special educational needs and disabilities. You will work with curriculum teams to ensure that all learners receiving support have the opportunities to achieve and exceed their potential, develop independence skills and have equal opportunities to progress into further study, employment and/or positive community engagement.  

     

    What are we looking for?

     

    With experience of working in an education or care setting with young people with learning difficulties, disabilities and complex and physical needs, you will have Level 2 Maths and English or equivalent or willingness to achieve within 1 year together with qualifications in learning support, care or education or a willingness to work towards.  

    You must have knowledge and understanding of barriers and issues faced by students with special educational needs and disabilities and strategies to overcome these.
