LSA - Blackburn:
Prospero Teaching are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support Year 2 pupils at a school near to Blackburn. This is a full time position starting in January.
The Role:
- Preparing learning resources and activities
- Communicating with teachers, parents and pupils
Position Details:
- Location: Blackburn
- Position: Learning Support Assistant
- Hours: 8:15am-4pm
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: 85 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: Jan 2025
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Previous experience supporting primary school aged children in a learning environment
- Team Teach training would be highly desired
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
