The Blackburn with Darwen Children’s Services is seeking a full-time agency social worker for its Safeguarding Service, offering a pay rate of up to £39 per hour.
Candidates must possess at least 18 months of post-qualification experience, particularly in Safeguarding, Child Protection, and Court work.
A valid SWE registration and a driving license are required, with experience in Protocol Liquid Logic being advantageous but not mandatory.
The role involves both homeworking and office-based work, necessitating flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a caseload independently.
Successful candidates will receive regular supervision and be integrated into a supportive team within a great Local Authority.

Pay rate up to £39 per hourBlackburn with Darwen Children’s Services require 1 full time agency social worker to cover in its Safeguarding Service.The candidate will have at least 18 months post qualification experience longer term Safeguarding/CP/Court work.The candidate must have a SWE registration and be a car driver, with previous experience of the use of Protocol Liquid Logic an advantage but not essential.You must have good communication skills and be a team worker with the ability to work independently and manage a caseload.There will be both homeworking and office-based working arrangements as per the service requirements so you will be required to work flexibly.
