LSA - Blackburn:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a part-time learning support assistant to join one of our excellent schools near to Blackburn.

The Role:

  • Preparing learning resources and activities
  • Working closely with the class teacher to monitor progress of the students
  • Building rapport with staff, parents and pupils
  • Fostering a positive learning environment

Position Details:

  • Location: Blackburn
  • Position: LSA
  • Hours: 9am-4pm
  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: Jan 2025
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Previous experience supporting primary school aged children in a learning environment
  • Team Teach training would be highly desired

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
