SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (KS1)Location: Primary School in Blackburn

Job Description:We are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a KS1 class at a welcoming primary school in Blackburn. This role will be supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and working closely with the class teacher to create an inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in a SEN setting
• Relevant qualification in supporting teaching and learning (or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of SEN and the ability to support diverse learning needs
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
