SEN Teaching Assistant - Blackburn:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN at a lovely school near to Blackburn. You will be required to work with pupils 1-1 and in small groups.

Previous experience supporting children in an educational setting is essential.

Position Details:

  • Location: Blackburn
  • Position: SEN TA
  • Hours: 8:20am-3:20pm
  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: 90 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: January 2025
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in a school or similar setting.
  • Experience of effectively and positively managing behaviour.
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable but training can be provided).

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
