About the Year 2 Teacher Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Blackheath. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced KS1 teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to make a real impact on young learners, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities of a Year 2 Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum.
Create an inclusive and nurturing classroom that supports all learners.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support.
Work closely with colleagues and parents to ensure the best outcomes for children.
Uphold safeguarding policies to maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
Requirements for the Year 2 Teacher Role:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching KS1 (preferably Year 2).
A passion for education and the ability to inspire and engage young learners.
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and parents.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
