Join a Growing Team as an Accounts Senior in Blackpool!

LHH is excited to partner with a leading regional professional services firm in Blackpool! They're known for providing exceptional chartered accountancy, business & tax advisory, and auditing services with a strong focus on client relationships. If you're looking to make a real impact in a friendly and dynamic environment, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with entrepreneurial clients, helping them grow their businesses.
  • Prepare annual accounts and tax computations for both incorporated and unincorporated entities, ensuring full compliance.
  • Manage self-assessment tax returns and provide clear insights on client obligations.
  • Advise clients on capital tax matters, including inheritance tax and capital gains tax.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records for effective financial reporting.
  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Liaise with HMRC to resolve client queries and issues.
  • Provide administrative & business setup services to support client growth.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members.
Requirements:
  • Studying towards ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Proficient in Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
  • Experience in preparing accounts for a variety of clients.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to develop lasting client relationships.
  • A keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
