This firm of experienced accountants is looking for a detail-orientated and highly organised professional, with good time management and strong IT skills who can oversee the WIP for a significant client portfolio for both audit and accounts with audit being the principal focus.

Job Purpose

  • Planning and completion of audits, including the allocation of staff in the office and the field.
  • Preparation and review of statutory accounts
  • Work closely with clients to build trusted relationships, being the go-to for support.
  • Deliver a strong commercial awareness, reviewing opportunities for fee development.
  • Confidently present work to managers, completing files to a high standard.
  • Underpin audit and accounts matters with current legislation and compliance.
  • Delegate work to, and mentor new trainees, supporting with their learning and development
  • Set an example for the team as a natural leader
