We are recruiting a Financial Accountant for a PE-backed business in the Fylde Coast. This is a newly created role due to growth and acquisition and will report directly into a CFO. The Financial Accountant will ensure the accurate and timely production of financial accounts, financial statements, balance sheet management, audit, tax and internal controls and processes. This role is ideal for a newly qualified ACA or ACCA looking to transition from practice into an industry, or a technically strong Financial Accountant already working in manufacturing.
Key responsibilities;
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Preparation of subsidiary statutory accounts.
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
- Corporation tax and personal tax liabilities.
- Prepare for and support internal and external audits.
- Identify areas for improvement in financial processes.
- Ad hoc reports / analysis & projects.
Ideally will be able to demonstrate the below experience;
- Newly Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Confident communicator.
- Advanced Excel skills .
- Knowledge of ERP systems, consolidation, or accounts preparation software.
