Description
As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the Financial Controller in running the finance department, running monthly reports and month end close down. Key duties will include:
- Producing monthly management accounts
- Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Stock control and reconciliation
- Managing cost activities and control
- Preparing budgets and forecasting, with variance analysis and commentary
- Preparing performance reports for all departments, sales and margins
- Responsibility for job costing and profitability reports
- Supporting with year end duties
Profile
The successful applicant for the Management Accountant role must be:
- Part qualified CIMA/ACCA
- Experience of management accounts
- Good reporting experience
- Strong Excel skills - extract/manipulate data
- Good organisational skills
- Supervisory experience is advantageous
- Ability to use own initiative
