A highly successful and well established manufacturing company on the Fylde Coast are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their well established finance team. The company operates both nationally and internationally and have a fantastic reputation in their field.

You will report to the Financial Controller and take responsibility for the Management Accounts function along with the management of a transactional team of 4.

As the Management Accountant your duties will include :

  • Conducting full analysis of all P&L accounts.
  • Preparing group companies' reporting pack including commentaries / variances to budget i
  • Preparing month-end journals.
  • Performing daily sales and bank reconciliations.
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register.
  • Reconciling all balance sheet accounts
  • Completing VAT returns on a quarterly basis.
  • Reconciling intercompany accounts.
  • Monitoring the debtors ledger to ensure any outstanding debt is chased
  • Assisting with the annual and biannual company stock takes.
  • Allocating cash receipts on cashier accounts.
  • Conducting sales reporting and analysis.
  • Contributing to the annual business planning process.
  • Other Ad hoc duties as the business requires
