Part Qualified Management Accountant | Green Energy Sector

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Benefits
We are representing an innovative, fast-growing business in the green energy sector, providing net-zero solutions and legislative compliance. Our client is looking for a dynamic Management Accountant to join their finance team and help drive sustainable growth.
About the Role:
As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, cashflow analysis, and forecasts while ensuring full tax compliance. This is a pivotal role where you’ll work closely with leadership to monitor and improve the company’s financial performance, supporting its mission to achieve a net-zero future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely management accounts with insightful variance analysis.
- Cashflow Management: Produce regular cashflow forecasts and variance reports to maintain liquidity.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the business by preparing annual budgets and monthly re-forecasts to challenge and monitor performance.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure the company is compliant with VAT, CIS, CIT, and other tax regulations.
- Gross Margin Management: Work with key personnel to ensure gross margins remain on target.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings within the finance function.
- Audit Support: Assist with the company’s financial audit processes, ensuring all procedures are up to date.
- Team Mentoring: Provide support and mentoring to junior team members within the finance team.
Key Requirements:
- Actively studying towards a CIMA or ACCA qualification
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Proactive, driven, and passionate about sustainability and finance
- Ability to work to high standards and deadlines
