Company Details and Job Overview:A new Senior Management Accountant position has become available within a well-established, privately owned business in Blackpool. This role is well suited to a qualified accountant (or close to completing CIMA/ACCA/ACA), aspiring to progress into a Financial Controller role as there are defined succession plans in place for development to FC.Key Benefits/ Rewards on Offer:• Office based role, 37.5 hours with flexibility on working hours – start time between 8am-9am and finish between 5pm-6pm• Ongoing training and development from the FC and FD• Competitive starting salary, reviewed periodically as the role develops• Private healthcare• Various discountsYour New Role as Senior Management Accountant:Receiving support from the FC and FD, duties for the new Senior Management Accountant will include:• Supervising and mentoring the accounts team• Preparation of the month end pack including P&L, balance sheet, commentary and analysis• Budgeting and forecasting activities• Supporting with year end/audit• Key player in streamlining existing processes within finance• Working cross-functionally, liaising with non-finance stakeholders to provide financial insight and adviceExperience & Qualifications Required to Apply:To be considered, you will be fully qualified in CIMA, ACCA or ACA or be actively studying and committed to completing studies (within the next 12 months ideally). Strong communication skills are required with the ability to challenge and influence where required.
