A new Senior Management Accountant position has become available within a well-established, privately owned business in Blackpool. This role is well suited to a qualified accountant (or close to completing CIMA/ACCA/ACA), aspiring to progress into a Financial Controller role as there are defined succession plans in place for development to FC.

Your New Role as Senior Management Accountant:
Receiving support from the FC and FD, duties for the new Senior Management Accountant will include:
Supervising and mentoring the accounts team
Preparation of the month end pack including P&L, balance sheet, commentary and analysis
Budgeting and forecasting activities
Supporting with year end/audit
Key player in streamlining existing processes within finance
Working cross-functionally, liaising with non-finance stakeholders to provide financial insight and advice
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
To be considered, you will be fully qualified in CIMA, ACCA or ACA or be actively studying and committed to completing studies (within the next 12 months ideally). Strong communication skills are required with the ability to challenge and influence where required. Additionally, good systems skills are required including Excel, handling large and complex data sets.
