Location: BlackpoolHours: Full Time (37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm) / Part Time options availableSalary: Competitive, commensurate with experience

Halcyon Care Northwest are partnering with a leading provider of health and social care services, who is seeking an efficient and proactive Admin Assistant to join our vibrant team. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised individual who excels in a fast-paced office environment and is committed to providing high-quality administrative support.

The Role:

As an Admin Assistant, you will be a crucial support for our Service Manager and the broader team. Your responsibilities will include managing various administrative tasks, handling confidential information with discretion, and ensuring that office operations run smoothly. You will also be a point of contact for internal and external inquiries, demonstrating professionalism and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check and respond to emails, prioritizing accordingly
  • Create and update spreadsheets, graphs, and reports for the board and Executive Team
  • Collate weekly reports and data for analysis
  • Answer phone calls and record messages for relevant individuals
  • Manage diaries and prioritize appointments
  • Organise meetings and prepare relevant records and reports
  • Maintain accurate records and databases
  • Take minutes at meetings, including confidential discussions
  • Assist with contract management, CQC Inspections, and compile professional reports and action plans

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within health and social care
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data management
  • Flexibility in working hours to meet service needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of policies and governance structures in the health and social care sector
  • Experience working with senior management in an office setting
