Are you looking for a new finance role within the education sector?Are you passionate about numbers, meticulous with spreadsheets, and ready to make a difference in education?If so, you might be the perfect candidate for our temporary finance administrator job based in Blackpool!We are currently supporting this friendly and innovative high school recruit as a temporary finance administrator on a part-time basis for approximately 3-4 months. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the school alongside the finance team, from invoicing, dealing with supplier queries to supporting payment apps to working on various systems, including Sage and Excel.This finance role is to start ASAP on a full-time basis, working from 8am-4pm Monday to Friday.Your new role

  • Inputting invoices and orders onto Sage.
  • Organise and maintain computerised and manual systems for the storage and retrieval of information and documents.
  • Record and accurately log all transactions.
  • Generate purchase orders and process invoices for payment.
  • Chasing and supporting any supplier queries.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Relevant finance qualifications or at least 12 months experience within a similar role within a school.
  • Excellent IT Skills, including using Excel and School Systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ideally previous experience of working in an educational setting.
