Are you an experienced Head Chef looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills? This award-winning country gastro pub with a desire to drive the kitchen to the next level through delicious, consistent food delivery, creating an exciting destination venue. Located in a beautiful countryside setting, you will have the opportunity to create seasonal menus using locally sourced fresh ingredients. The Head Chef must be a collaborative leader to join the team and lead the kitchen, building and managing a small team to deliver high standards with controlled costs.

Head Chef Ideal Profile:

Proven track record of creating seasonal menus with locally sourced fresh ingredients

Ability to deliver high standards consistently with controlled costs

Experience in building and managing a small team

Exceptional cooking skills and knowledge of excellent service and hygiene standards

Strong financial acumen, including knowledge of stock reporting, P&Ls, and budget controls

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate, strategize, and plan with others

Confident, outgoing personality coupled with a calm disposition

Head Chef Responsibilities:

Create and manage seasonal menus using locally sourced fresh ingredients

Manage a small team of kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation

Control kitchen costs, including food and labour costs, to ensure profitability
