Business Development Executive
Due to continuing expansion our client, a national manufacturing company is actively seeking an experienced, dedicated, and ambitious Business Development Executive to complement their growing team.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, duties to include:
路 Contact leads with an end goal of securing appointments for the external sales team.
路 Contact lapsed accounts with the sole purpose of reigniting business relationships.
路 Proactively up-sell when customers placing orders to increase revenue.
路 Ability to sell over the phone to include new business/lapsed business.
路 To assist with specific marketing campaigns and strategies - to include follow up calls.
路 Be proactive and where possible offer product alternatives or additional products to customers.
路 Processing of quotations on all order types, ensuring any stock shortages are communicated - all quotations are to be followed up in a timely manner.
路 Organise workload to meet company and customer timeframes.
路 Ensure accurate records are created of customer interactions and transactions are saved on CRM and maintain the standard of all records.
路 Processing of credit card payments as required in line with Data Protection Act.
路 Assist the customer contact department in dealing with all customer enquiries and wherever necessary, handling and resolving customer complaints in a timely manner.
路 Provide product pricing and delivery information to customers and colleagues upon request.
路 Communicate and coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer timescales are adhered to.
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience as Telesales Representative or B2B sales/customer service role together with excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address client complaints.
A good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software) and telephone systems could be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.
