Duties:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine the required specifications for each job.
  • Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal plates and sheets.
  • Select the appropriate tooling, dies, and machinery settings for each bending operation.
  • Position metal plates and sheets onto the press brake machine and accurately align them according to the specified measurements.
  • Adjust machine settings such as speed, pressure, and depth to ensure precise bending and shaping of the metal.
  • Monitor the operation of the press brake machine, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications, dimensions, and quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press brake machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent malfunctions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues or notify the maintenance department for repairs.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

All training provided

Shifts: Monday- Thursday 7am -4.30pm

Pay: £13-15ph
