Title: Working Site ManagerLocation: NationwideSalary: £20/22 per hour (CIS)Package: Digs, Expenses, 25 days holidayShifts/Days: Monday - Friday, 7am - 7pm (weekends can be included)Key Responsibilities:Overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations on-site, including managing subcontractors and ensuring smooth project execution.Daily site reports and ensuring all necessary health and safety protocols are followed.Conducting site audits and addressing any potential risks or concerns.Client-facing role requiring regular communication to middle management.Getting hands-on with the tools as needed to ensure project progress, particularly during fast-track retail fit-outs (with values ranging from £150k to £350k).Managing projects across various sites, ensuring they meet deadlines, quality standards, and budget.Desired Experience & Background:Strong joinery background, with recent experience working as a working foreman or site manager on branded projects (KFC, Pret, Starbucks, Burger King, Greggs, etc.) in the last two years.Proven track record of managing fast-track retail and restaurant fit-outs, particularly in high-value, quick-turnaround projects (5-week timelines).Experience working on motorways services or retail fit-outs.Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously, managing resources effectively.Skills & Qualities:Must be a joiner by trade with practical, hands-on experience.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors efficiently.Excellent communication skills for dealing with clients and coordinating teams.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple fast-paced projects.Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to roll up sleeves and get involved in all aspects of the project when required.No PAYE contracts; the role will be CIS-based.If you have a proven background in managing fast-track fit-out projects for renowned brands and are looking for an opportunity where you can contribute at every level, this is the ideal role for you.
