Vacancy: Site Manager/ Finishing Manager

Unite People are working alongside a specialist construction contractor to hire a Finishing Foreman/ Finishing Manager on site, for an internals refurbishment projects starting in Blackpool.

Additional Sites & projects are available and planned, following successful completion.

The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring that a public sector contract is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. You will ideally be from a trades background, full competent with modern quality standards, snagging, site paperworkand safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing internal fitout of individual, specialist rooms including flooring, joinery and M&E packages.
  • Use snagging software to record defects, quality issues and progress.
  • Maintain high health & safety standards throughout
  • Attend meetings with Site and Project management to discuss programme and progress.
  • Making sure the project is finished to client satisfaction

Required Qualifications & Training

  • CSCS Card
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid
  • Previous experience of either education, healthcare or public sector contracts would be preferable.
  • Strong People Management experience
  • Strong people skills
