Our client is a two form entry primary academy located in the centre of Blackpool (FY1) with accessible localpublic transport routes and public parking options. They are a new build school with a large amount of internalspace for learning and activities. This school has an inclusive approach with mixed ability classes and a 40%SEN pupil count. They are on the lookout for a confident TA with prior SEN or care experience who has the abilityto build and develop a productive relationship with a pupil, providing support with their attainment, personal andemotional development. While you will be assigned to work with a pupil you will also have the chance to swap outwith other TA's to encourage the child's independence and prevent a velcro learning relationship.

They are currently seeking a general classroom TA for Y6/ Y3 and Y1 to support duties such as resourceprinting, preparation of activities, tidying, setting up, small group support, 1:1 support and record keeping.Fluency with IPAD'S and strong IT skills will be needed. Ideally you will be someone who has strong behaviourmanagement skills, control, experience in with relevant key stages and showcase intuitive skills. You will beregarded as part of a team and included in training, INSET and staff meetings.

This role is term time only, Monday - Friday 8:30-3:30 on a temporary contract via randstad for two termssupport. Pay is currently at £13.50-£14 per hour with review at AWR and when April minimum wage increases.

Responsibilities:

? Help prepare a lesson and tidy the classroom afterwards? Provide assistance with lesson plans? Support children across the curriculum? Give extra support to children with special needs? Help mark work? Report student progress? Help look after the children during school trips and activities? Look after children that are unwell? Attend meetings

Essential requirements:

? Experience working with young people? Class management skills? Comfortable managing challenging behaviour? Able to engage with and motivate children? TA Qualified
