Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with a specific student, providing tailored support to help them achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 support to a student with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom and during other school activities. Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt learning materials to meet the students needs. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the students progress and well-being. Monitor and record the students progress and provide regular feedback to the SENCO and class teacher. Support the student with personal care tasks, if required. Requirements: Previous experience working with children with special educational needs A patient, empathetic, and positive attitude. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
