This home, known for its commitment to exceptional care, is seeking a leader who will uphold and enhance its high standards of service. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a 40+ bedded home, ensuring the wellbeing of residents, and leading a team of committed staff.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily management of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the care team, promoting a positive and inclusive working environment.
  • Ensure the highest standards of care are maintained, focusing on the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders.
  • Implement and monitor care plans, ensuring they are tailored to the individual needs of each resident.
  • Ensure the home is compliant with CQC standards and regulations.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record in managing a nursing or residential home, ideally with experience in homes with 40+ beds.
  • A current NMC PIN is ideal, and applications from former nurses are strongly encouraged.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A comprehensive understanding of CQC regulations and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budget management.
