Production Operative - Immediate start
We are currently recruiting for Production Operative roles to join our team in the Blackpool area, FY4 2RP. Immediate
starts are available.
Our client is one of the UK's leading logistics companies. A warehouse with a great atmosphere and you are treated with respect.
Details:
- Pay rate: £12.00
- Rotational shifts Working Hours: 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00
- Working Days: Monday - Friday
- Overtime 1.25 x basic rate, after 40h/week
- 30 minutes unpaid break
Role of a Production Operative:
- Working within a busy/fast paced environment which requires a high level of dexterity and accuracy.
- Manual weighing out of ingredients of bags up to 25kg - following a recipe.
- Quality checking and reporting results
- Working to a schedule as part of a team
- Clean-down the station between batches and allergens
- Checking of batches & quantities
- Following company procedures, ensure products are processed and packed safely and to the right quantity and quality.
- Checking documentation to ensure products are packed in line with specification.
- Complete all health and safety checks and actions in line with company procedure.
- Ensure working area is always kept clean and tidy applying "a clean as you go process'.
- Workers will be trained on several different tasks within the production area and may be required to move
- between tasks/activities throughout the day.
Requirements for the Production Operative role:
- Ability to follow instructions and process.
- Computer literate to be trained to use the warehouse IT system.
- Good level of literacy and numeracy
- Capable of lifting and standing for long periods.
- Good English language skills
