Pay Bracket: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

We are working with a long-established Marketing some of the most iconic businesses in the world. Our client is going through an exciting period of growth, and their team now needs to expand and recruit a Finance Manager.

This is a great opportunity for a Finance Manager with experience in Bookkeeping, reconciliations, invoicing, credit control, submission of VAT returns and preparation of accounts to Trial Balance stage.

Your main roles and responsibilities:

  • Management of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
  • Assisting with company payroll
  • Collating monthly reports for the Senior Management Team
  • Reconciling cash, bank accounts, and revenues
  • Maintaining an accurate general ledger
  • Creating journal entries for all accounts
  • Monitoring cash flow
  • Issuing invoices and collecting payments from customers
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Ensuring financial processes and controls are improved and implemented
  • Processing purchase ledger invoices
  • Managing supplier payments

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proficient in using accounting systems, preferably Xero
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • An understanding of operational and business needs.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management and exceptional organisation skills.
  • Proficient in excel and all Microsoft apps.
  • Strong understanding of navigating through reports and recognising areas of improvement.
  • Strong collaboration, team communication
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
