The Role

As Finance Manager, your responsibilities will focus on management accounts and the delivery of actionable financial insights to support business strategy. This is a hands-on role that also offers opportunities to shape and improve financial processes in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Deliver accurate financial reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support business planning.
  • Ensure robust month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations.
  • Support cash flow management and provide forecasts to guide strategic decisions.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Continuously review and improve financial processes and controls.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

About You

Ideal Candidate:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with solid post-qualification experience.
  • Proven track record in producing and analyzing management accounts.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
  • Experience in leading and developing a finance team.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
