The Structures Team Leader position in Blackpool offers a salary of up to £50k along with a generous benefits package.

The successful candidate will serve as an interface between the Chief Engineer and the Stress Team to ensure efficient structural analysis delivery.
Candidates must possess an MEng or BEng Engineering Degree and demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, along with the ability to perform hand calculations based on stress and strain principles.
Additionally, knowledge of material properties, EASA Part 21J Rules, and active SC Clearance or eligibility is necessary for consideration.

Role details:

We're working with an agile, high-growth engineering SME who provide mechanical design solutions to a variety of clients in the aviation, defence and space sectors.

They are looking for Structures Team Leader act as an interface between the Chief Engineer and the Stress Team. Enabling cost-effective and efficient delivery of structural analysis.

Requirements:

10+ years' relevant experience.
MEng / BEng Engineering Degree
Excellent leadership qualities
The ability to perform hand calculations based on first principles of stress and strain
Knowledge of metallic and non-metallic material properties and failure modes
Knowledge of EASA Part 21J Rules for DOAs and Certification Specification

Eligibility:
