Our client, a leading national manufacturer due to expansion, is looking to recruit an organised, professional, and efficient Warehouse & Production Planner to complement their growing team.

Reporting to the Production Manager, duties to include:

Organize production according to demand and quality standards

Collaborate with Production Managers to ensure optimum productivity and timely completion of orders

Create and implement integrated systems for carrying out production processes, such as quality and inventory control, human work factors, and cost analysis, logistics and material flow, and production coordination

Coordinate between the production program and production sites for on-time delivery of products

Ensure the availability of engineering data at product sites to support the build schedule

Support the resolution of issues such as shortages, squawks, and taps; internal and external purchase orders and production delays that may influence on-time bundle delivery

Cultivate systems that guarantee that production schedules align with program schedules

Provide initiatives for continuous production and engineering improvement

Create and deliver production status metrics to aid effective decision-making in the organization.

As a successful candidate you will have practical experience in production planning, production materials, forecasting and inventory, be self-motivated, possess excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills together with the ability to plan and manage a workload efficiently. ICT Literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Inc. Excel) is essential and a related qualification in a technical field would be beneficial but not essential.
