You will have:
- Experience in a senior/ managerial role in a Residential Children's Home
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- In-depth knowledge and experience in Residential Children's Homes
- Experience in developing and mentoring staff teams.
- Excellent communication, and organisational skills.
- Valid & Clear UK Driving Licence
Key responsibilities:
- Support the Registered Manager in compliance with policies, procedures, and Ofsted regulations.
- Deputise for the Registered Manager when needed.
- Safeguard and promote young people's welfare, ensuring their needs are met.
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment and assist with admissions in line with care plans.
- Develop relationships with parents, social workers, and professionals.
- Balance managerial duties with hands-on care, leading shifts and maintaining confidentiality.
