BSL Level 3 TA:
Prospero Teaching are currently looking for a Level 3 qualified BSL teaching assistant to join a lovely primary school in Blackpool. This is a full time position to start after Easter.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
- Preparing learning resources and activities
- Positively and effectively managing behaviour
- Building a supportive and nurturing learning environments
- Liaising with other staff to monitor progress of the pupils
Position Details:
- Location: Blackpool
- Position: BSL TA
- Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm, Mon-Fri
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: 120 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Previous experience supporting children with complex needs in a school setting
- Level 3 BSL training is essential
- Team Teach training is highly desirable
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
