Vision for Education are currently looking to appoint a teacher of Business Studies for a school based in Blackpool starting November 2024.

The role

This Business Studies & ICT teaching role is due to start November 2024 and have no set end date.

The ideal candidate will have a teaching qualification alongside a degree in Business.  You will be required to teach Business Studies and ICT at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.  

The successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and will be able to plan innovative and engaging lessons that will meet the needs of children with a variety of abilities.  You must also be approachable, inspiring, enthusiastic and be able to quickly build relationships.  This is a great time to join us and become part of our committed teaching team.

The school is situated just on the outskirts of Blackpool on the Fylde Coast and prides itself on high level teaching and therefore looking for a teacher that demonstrate excellent subject knowledge. The successful Business and ICT Teacher will work in a supportive and friendly department and wider school environment. The school is forward thinking and benefits from a proactive Senior Leadership team.

Requirements

To be considered for the Teacher of Business Studies position you will:

  • Have experience teaching Business Studies to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary teachers
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
