Job Title: Catering Assistant (Temporary)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team for a temporary assignment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the catering industry while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Location: Blackpool
Contract Type: Temporary (Approx. 4 weeks, with the possibility of extension)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm
### Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas.Support the catering team in the setup and breakdown of events and daily operations.Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.Provide excellent customer service to guests and respond to their needs promptly.Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and reporting shortages.
### Requirements:
Previous experience in a catering or food service environment is preferred but not essential.Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanour.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.Basic knowledge of food hygiene practises is an advantage.A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
