Our client, a leading international manufacturer, are looking to recruit an organised, professional, and efficient Goods In & Goods Out Team Leader to assist with the management of the stores for multi sites.

Reporting to the General Manager, duties to include:

  • Increase profitability and effectiveness by maintaining optimal stock levels of quality products at all times.
  • Goods inwards and receipting of stock
  • Maintenance of COSHH products, packaging and safety & lifting equipment
  • Track shipments and address any delays
  • Oversee storage of products into the correct storage facilities
  • Coordinate regular inventory audits
  • Liaise with warehouse staff and other internal teams to test products’ quality (status upon delivery and storage conditions)
  • Keep updated inventory records (including daily shipments)
  • Occasionally carry out local deliveries
  • Cleaning the external/internal open areas throughout the site.

As a successful candidate you will have prior experience within goods/stores together with an understanding of supply chain procedures, possess excellent organisation, good communication and customer service skills.

A current FLT licence together with a working knowledge of inventory management software could be an advantage but not essential as the Company offers this qualification.
