The Recruitment Co are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to work for an established, growing business in the Blackpool area.
Salary: 28,000 - 32,000 a year
Working hours:
- Mon-Thurs 8:00 - 16:30pm
- Fri 8:00am - 15:30pm
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistic Coordinator to manage and streamline our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a solid understanding of logistics and supply chain management. This role involves coordinating transportation, managing data entry, and ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare shipments according to customer requirements on internal operating system.
- Liaising with internal departments (Purchasing, Production and Supply Chain)
- Arranging couriers for UK and International shipments.
- Prepare Export Documents as required.
- Maintain Records of Imported & Exported goods to comply with HMRC regulations.
- Coordinate with Subcontractors and organise deliveries and collections.
- Goods inwards Receipts and Inspection
- There will be a physical aspect to the role where you may be required to carry out manual task.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional phone manner.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving within a fast-paced environment.
