Description

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the safe delivery of planned plant outages across the Site, producing detailed plans to ensure SHE, Quality, Cost and Time requirements are met. You will also assist the Maintenance Team with the delivery of day-to-day resource planning, providing a clear and detailed picture of requirements.

You will be required to liaise with external contractors to identify innovative technical solutions and subsequent delivery. You will also lead the alignment of delivery of complex multifaceted work packages, within major planned outages.

As part of the role you will be expected to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, making recommendations and implementing initiatives to enhance the manufacturing capability of plant assets

Profile

We are looking for someone who has knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory requirements, associated with the delivery of Maintenance and Engineering activity, across a complex hazardous area manufacturing plant footprint. You should also have proven leadership performance in a chemical manufacturing environment, with theability to orchestrate the delivery of time critical activity, safely and on budget,within a fast-changing dynamic landscape. All other manufacturing environments will also be considered.

Our ideal candidate preferably will be from an engineering background. They will have a strategic mindset, with a track record in delivering change, commercial awareness dealing with both internal and external stakeholders, managing ambiguity and building strong teams across multiple disciplines. Experience within project management would also be an advantage.

A degree in a relevant discipline is desirable, although we would also consider those with the equivalent experience in a related field.

You will have a proven track record in managing complex projects during manufacturing shutdowns.

Job Offer
