YR5 Teacher Required Blackpool - DecemberĀ 2024


We are looking for a Teacher to cover a Year 5 class for the rest of the academic year in an very well run and popular primary school in Ā Blackpool. This position is full timeĀ and will involve allĀ the expectations of a KS2 Teacher. The role is covering a maternity leave. more experienced and dynamic ECTs willĀ be considered too. We are looking to speak to interested Teachers ASAP so we can get the right person for this role.

Responsibilities:
ā€¢ Deliver quality lessons to pupils in the absence of the regular Ā 
Ā  classroom teacher
ā€¢ Deliver lessonsĀ 
ā€¢ Manage student behaviour in accordance with school policies andĀ 
Ā  procedures
ā€¢ Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that isĀ 
Ā  Ā conducive to learning
ā€¢ Provide feedback to students and the regular teacher on theirĀ 
Ā  progress and areas for improvement


Requirements:
ā€¢ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification (ECTs May apply)
ā€¢ Proven experience in teaching in a primary or school setting
ā€¢ Good classroom management skills and the ability to engage andĀ 
Ā  Ā motivate students
ā€¢ A current Enhanced DBS check on the update service orĀ 
Ā  willingness to undergo a DBS check through ourselves
