  • Duration: 3 months
  • Schedule: 9-5 Monday to Friday

  • Rate of pay: £35 - £40p/h umbrella days

Position Overview: We are seeking a licensed Clinical Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions to clients of all ages. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in evidence-based practices and a passion for helping individuals overcome psychological challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments using standardized tools and clinical interviews to diagnose and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based modalities tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and holistic treatment approaches.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.
  • Stay abreast of developments in the field of psychology and integrate new research findings into clinical practice.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and continuing education activities to support professional growth and development.

Requirements and qualifications required for this role:

  • Current and valid registration with the HCPC.
  • Proven experience within a psychologist position in the UK for more than 6 months.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Providing a psychological service for adults experiencing a mental health crisis requiring intensive treatment to prevent an admission to hospital.  Providing assessment, formulation and brief psychological interventions.  Providing consultation and formulation sessions to the MDT.  Being present at MDT meetings, handover and other relevant meetings.  Supervision of a Clinical Associate in Psychology.
