Due to continuing expansion our client, a national service company, is actively seeking a flexible and reliable Sales Team Leader to support, manage, train and the sales team to meet business targets and KPIs, and assisting in securing profitable business.


Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, responsibilities will include:


  • Support team members in achieving KPIs (conversion, retention, profitability, customer satisfaction) through regular feedback, learning opportunities, and growth initiatives.
  • Ensure all team members adhere to customer service standards and expectations.
  • Authorize commercial solutions and provide guidance to handle queries, overcome objections, and manage underperformance fairly and effectively.
  • Utilise business systems and reporting tools to analyse trends in team performance, engagement, and wellbeing.
  • Foster effective teamwork and communication to enhance engagement and commitment within the Sales teams.
  • Participate in recruiting new team members and conduct comprehensive onboarding activities to ensure a smooth start.
  • Plan and deliver induction and ongoing training aligned with expectation standards for team development.
  • Provide ongoing support through feedback, coaching, mentoring, and Personal Development Plans (PDPs), while implementing targeted development activities to improve team and individual performance.
  • Stay informed about product, pricing, competitors, and market trends, participate in ad hoc activities to support business objectives.

As a successful candidate you will have a solid background within a sales or customer service role with experience of leading and motivating others in the workplace, a Level 3 qualification in Leadership or Management would be beneficial., a proficient knowledge of standard office practices and procedures is also essential.


You will also possess outstanding communication skills, both written/ verbal (fluency in a second language could be advantageous but not essential) together with excellent IT, organizational skills and the ability to develop positive internal and external partnerships.
