Engine Maintenance Technician
£35,000 - £40,000 + Van

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an Engine Maintenance Technician to join a leading business in the Power Generation sector. As an engine maintenance technician, you’ll be a part of a team carrying out maintenance across a number of sites in Blackpool and the surrounding areas.
As the Engine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Travelling to various sites across the Northwest, covering Blackpool, Preston etc
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on landfill gas and natural gas engines
- Ensuring maintenance and repair works completed as per the maintenance schedule
- Identifying spare parts and maintaining sufficient stocks and records.
- Ensuring full HSEQ compliance on site
- Working as part of a call-out rota
- Assisting with operations where necessary
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
- A relevant engineering qualification (BTEC, HNC, NVQ, Apprenticeship etc)
- Proven experience carrying out maintenance and repairs on large reciprocating engines
- The ability to travel to various sites across the Northwest
- Ability to work independent and within a team as well as effective time management and organisational skills
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role
