Engine Maintenance Technician

£35,000 - £40,000 + Van

North-west

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an Engine Maintenance Technician to join a leading business in the Power Generation sector. As an engine maintenance technician, you’ll be a part of a team carrying out maintenance across a number of sites in Blackpool and the surrounding areas.

As the Engine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Travelling to various sites across the Northwest, covering Blackpool, Preston etc
  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on landfill gas and natural gas engines
  • Ensuring maintenance and repair works completed as per the maintenance schedule
  • Identifying spare parts and maintaining sufficient stocks and records.
  • Ensuring full HSEQ compliance on site
  • Working as part of a call-out rota
  • Assisting with operations where necessary
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

  • A relevant engineering qualification (BTEC, HNC, NVQ, Apprenticeship etc)
  • Proven experience carrying out maintenance and repairs on large reciprocating engines
  • The ability to travel to various sites across the Northwest
  • Ability to work independent and within a team as well as effective time management and organisational skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role
