The Role – Finance Assistant:

As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Accounts Receivable and Credit Control functions. This is a hands-on role where strong customer service and relationship-building skills are vital, as you'll regularly engage with both internal teams and external clients. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will be key to ensuring the smooth operation of the financial processes.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing Queries: Handle customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Raising Sales Invoices: Generate and send invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Issuing Statements & Reminder Letters: Maintain a regular communication cycle with customers, including issuing monthly statements and reminders for overdue payments.
  • Customer Setup: Set up new customers in the finance system, ensuring all details are correct and up to date.
  • Internal & External Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with both colleagues and clients, always delivering excellent customer service.
  • Cash Flow Contribution: Assist in the preparation of monthly cash flow forecasts, contributing to the overall financial planning of the business.
